The Jalna district health department organized a free medical camp to provide basic health check-ups for residents as part of its ongoing public health initiatives. The camp witnessed good participation from people of different age groups. A team of doctors and healthcare staff conducted screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, and general health issues, while also offering basic medical consultations and advice.
Officials stated that the primary objective of the camp was to promote preventive healthcare and encourage early detection of lifestyle-related and chronic diseases. Citizens were also guided on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and were referred to hospitals for further treatment where required. The health department announced that similar camps will be organized in other parts of the district to ensure better healthcare access for all.
