Farmers across Jalna district have begun preparations for the upcoming sowing season with increased activity in both rural and semi-rural areas. Key tasks such as land leveling, ploughing, seed selection, and procurement of fertilizers and pesticides are currently underway. Many farmers are also preparing irrigation facilities and assessing soil conditions in anticipation of timely sowing.
Officials from the agriculture department have been visiting villages to guide farmers on seasonal planning. They have advised farmers to follow recommended crop patterns suitable for local soil and weather conditions and to use certified, quality seeds to improve crop yield and reduce the risk of crop failure. Farmers have also been encouraged to adopt modern farming practices and seek expert advice to ensure a successful agricultural season in Jalna district.
