Residents of Jalna welcomed the Marathi New Year, Gudi Padwa, with traditional fervor and positivity. Homes and streets were decorated with rangoli and mango leaf torans, while families raised the ceremonial Gudi flag outside their houses symbolizing victory and prosperity.
Special pujas were conducted at temples, and many citizens wore traditional Marathi attire to participate in processions and cultural programs. Sweet dishes like puran poli were prepared, and social gatherings were organized to mark the auspicious beginning of the new year. The celebrations highlighted Jalna’s strong Marathi cultural roots and heritage.
